Please feel free to explore the website, read the blog, and learn about what we have to offer. The English Lounge is a “self-access learning center” (SALC), where students can come to study English, take free classes, meet international students, or just hang out. Becoming an “autonomous learner” (自律的学習者) is very important for college students, and we are here to help. [This is a special edition of the EL Bookshelf Introduction series] _______ Oxford Reading Tree is a series of books used for extensive reading (多読). The books are meant for children and are very easy to read. You can read one book in one minute. You should write down all of the books that you read, and read as many as you can. They have nice pictures, too. You will feel good when you read a lot of books.
