Reik Jagno

Assistant Professor

Reik Jagno is an Assistant Professor in the Institute for the Promotion of Higher Education. He teaches English at the English Lounge, as well as general English classes in the Liberal Arts program at Hirosaki University. He finished his doctor course in Medieval and Modern History with a thesis about the transfer of knowledge between Germany and Japan in modern history. Furthermore he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology. His main research interests include cultural transfer, history of education and science, state and local history and biographical research.
