International Hirodai/Sankaku Dialogue – Rethinking Families – Rethinking families: Realities of rainbow families in Japan

More and more local governments in Japan recognize same-gender couples. In reality, there are many forms of families that are not necessarily conventional, called rainbow families. At a national level, however, such realities are not reflected in laws. This talk provides participants with opportunities to know the realities of rainbow families and to rethink families.
