Practical Translation Skills | Joshua

In this seminar, students will read news in Japanese and English, talk about translation techniques, and practice translating from Japanese into English. Translation is not simply changing words from one language to another. It is useful for helping us think about details and understand both English and Japanese better. We will also focus on creative writing, which can help students to make their English composition more interesting. Come to the seminar to read and write, as  well as to talk about your feelings and experiences with language learning.
