{"id":188,"date":"2026-06-29T16:03:50","date_gmt":"2026-06-29T07:03:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/home.hirosaki-u.ac.jp\/hospital\/?page_id=188"},"modified":"2026-07-17T17:23:10","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T08:23:10","slug":"discharge-procedures","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/home.hirosaki-u.ac.jp\/hospital\/hospitalization\/discharge-procedures\/","title":{"rendered":"Discharge Procedures"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"border-left: 6px solid #1f3a93;padding-left: 12px\"><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><strong>On discharge procedures<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Your primary attending physician will approve your discharge from the hospital.<\/li>\n<li>The nurses or hospital staff will explain the discharge procedures to you.<\/li>\n<li>Please make preparations so that you are able to leave the hospital by around 10:00.<\/li>\n<li>Please receive your discharge bill at the (5) &#8220;Admittance\/Discharge Counter.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Please make your payment at the (3) &#8220;Payment Counter.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If for some reason you will be making your payment at a later date, please inform the (5) &#8220;Admittance\/Discharge Counter.&#8221; Please note that it may not be possible to issue your bill on the day of discharge due to the processing of paperwork. In such a case, you will be asked to submit a Promise to Pay Declaration, so please have your personal seal with you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"border-left: 6px solid #1f3a93;padding-left: 12px\"><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><strong>On a discharge after 17:00 or on a holiday<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Please fill out the Promise to Pay Declaration and submit it at\u00a0 Ward Reception Desks.<\/li>\n<li>We will notify you at a later date of your hospitalization expenses at the contact details you give on the Declaration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On discharge procedures Your primary attending physician will approve your discharge from the hospital.
