Being Admitted to the Hospital<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Please arrive on your scheduled admission date.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the day of admittance to the hospital, you do not need to go to the Outpatient Counter.<\/span>
\nPlease go directly to the (5) “Admittance\/Discharge Counter” to the right of the Main Entrance Hall.<\/span><\/p>\n

  • If you do not have your Health Insurance Card etc., you may be asked to pay the full amount of your medical expenses.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • If you are not enrolled in Japanese public health insurance, regardless of your\u3000nationality, you will not be covered by insurance and will be responsible for the full cost of medical expenses. Therefore, our hospital will calculate medical expenses at 30 yen per point based on the medical fee (self-pay medical fee) stipulated by the health insurance system. Thank you for your understanding.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • As parking space is limited, patients being admitted to the hospital may not park their own cars in the car park. Please use public transportation.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Preparing for Your Stay<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

    What to bring<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

      \n
    • Pajamas<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Toiletries (toothbrush,<\/strong><\/em> toothpaste, shampoo, body soap, hairbrush<\/strong><\/em><\/span>, washbasin, electric shaver, etc.)<\/li>\n
    • Towels<\/strong><\/span><\/em> (face towel, bath towel)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Tissue paper<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Underwear<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Cutlery (e.g. Chopsticks, Cup, spoon, fork<\/strong><\/em><\/span> etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Dressing gown, robe or something similar<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Footwear (something comfortable in which you are unlikely to slip and fall)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Other items the patient needs (e.g. eyeglasses, dentures etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      *Please ask the nurse for a hairdryer; the hospital will lend you one.<\/span>
      \n*Italic items<\/strong><\/em><\/span> are included in the “Hospital Admittance Kit”.<\/span>
      \n* You will find a locker and trash can in your hospital room<\/span>
      \n*Please use the bedding (futons, blankets, sheets, and pillows) provided by the hospital.<\/span>
      \n*Please keep personal belongings to a minimum, and avoid bringing them in large clothing storage bins etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Prohibited Items<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

      To ensure safety, please do not bring the following items:<\/span><\/p>\n

      • Bladed or sharp objects: Scissors, utility knives, knives, razors, awls, needles, screwdrivers, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Ignitable or flammable materials: Lighters, matches, kerosene, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Alcoholic beverages (including non-alcoholic varieties)<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Tobacco products (including electronic and heated tobacco products)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        On Valuables<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

          \n
        • Large numbers of people pass through the hospital. In order to prevent theft or other unfortunate incidents, please do not bring large amounts of cash or other\u00a0 valuables.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • You will find a simple lockable storage box in the hospital bedside cabinet in your hospital room.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Please be advised that the hospital cannot accept responsibility for any loss or theft of personal belongings during \u3000your hospital stay.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          On the “Admittance to Hospital Kit”<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

          The hospital introduced a hospital gown and daily necessities rental service operated by a private firm. Use of the Admittance to Hospital Kit Rental Service is not compulsory. If you wish to use the Admittance to Hospital Kit Rental Service, you will need to fill out an application.
